This shed is nice! It’s not what I expected but so far it’s been good. It is very windy where we live and so far the shed has been super sturdy. It is resin and has channels. Not sure how the floor will hold up, but the walls once assembled seem great. Assembly is a lot of prep and it takes 2-3 people. Comes in pretty heavy boxes so be prepared. Note, I am an engineer, so please take the following comments bearing that in mind. Rankings of each category are 1-5 Stars. 1) Overall quality (5*). The finished product is great. After reading numerous reviews of sheds that are too flimsy and not weather resistant, this one seems well designed, durable (steel) and capable of keeping out light to moderate rain. However since it's made of steel, rust may be an issue in time . 2) Price per Sq. ft. (4.5*). Note: the 8' x 6' dimension is an exterior dimension. The interior is slightly less, however this it typical of this type of shed. Based on other sheds I've seen and read about, not having the same quality, this one matches up nicely. 3) Ease of assembly. (4*). Plan on two people over two days (average). It will require some ladder work, but not a lot. All pieces are light enough to be lifted by one person. Each piece is clearly identified. The instructions match the assembly procedure fairly well (mostly pictorial - good!). At times you really have to study the instructions (pictures) and the pieces involved, otherwise you may error and need to remove / redo a section. Helpful tip: Take all of the parts out, if possible, and inventory them prior to starting assembly. Group parts with similar assembly codes together. I was able to assembly the shed by myself. I kept the vertical beams from falling over by using tape (string would have worked, too) to nearby anchor points, such as a shelf unit or a stepladder. The instructions have no words, but the line drawings are good. Step 1 line drawing shows holes for 4 screws but the product had only 2. Step 2. the holes don't line up exactly. I used a bolt in the largest hole as a temporary alignment aid. Step 3. Perhaps it should be said that the doors go on the end with part #1. If you are assembling the shed in a small area, it it important to face the door in the right direction. I assembled it in a space that was about 6 feet wide. I had to push the shed back and forth to work on one side, then the other. Step 4. When putting side panels on, the bottom screw goes into the bottom frame. It's the most difficult one. To hold the panel while I worked on it, I put a temporary screw in one upper corner, then did the screws on the other end, starting at the bottom. Step 5. Part number 5. The bottom end is the one with a notch. After doing step 8, you could also do step 13 and step 18; that would hold the door frame better. Step 11. I put 9L on the right, 9R on the left. I think it depends on which way you want the roof to slope. Steps 14 and 15. These are the pieces with the sharpest edges. Reverse the directions on step 15 if you want the roof to slope the other way. I had to drill 2 holes for this step. For a product with hundreds of holes, most of the alignments were good. But I had to drill a hole in part 7 (frame above doors) at each end. The directions do not show any screws into the bottom of parts 12R and 12L, but you need 10 or so to connect these panels to the top of the shed. Holes are provided, but the instructions omitted that step. Step 16, the roof panels. Do the center hole first, because you can't exert much pressure on it. You will need to push the panels a bit. If they flatten, then the holes spread apart. Do the top side next, because if you are on a short ladder (like I was) it's more difficult. If the shed isn't exactly square, then the holes won't line up well. I did it in about 2 half-days. There were lots of F1 screws and plastic washers left over.. Michael. La Verne, CA. It's a nice looking shed, I have a smaller one of these too, you have to be careful with the panels in the sun, they will warp some which can make alignments difficult and to keep walls straight and not warped, always keep the walls completely flat and realize there are hundreds of screws into plastic that keep this shed together.. Overall this shed is extremely good for the price. The assembly took a good bit for two of us to put it together. The instructions can be a little difficult to understand at times so really pay attention to what the picture shows. The interior is huge! The headroom is great. Can easily stand up straight and have room to spare. The design has the windows caddie corner from each other, but I didn’t want one facing the house and it was simple to cut the notches for the trusses to fit into. If you want a good shed. After reading several reviews I was a little leary about purchasing the storage shed but the price was right so I took a chance. Over all I found it to be a nice shed for the money. Not the easiest to put together because the instructions weren't the easiest to follow but I'm pretty handy and got it together in a day. The tin is very sharp so handle with care. The parts came packed fairly well and there was no damage or dents to the metal pieces. Among the complaints in the reviews that I read were that there were not enough screws to complete the job but that wasn't my problem. I had several screws left over. But if I do have a complaint it is that the screws are so small I had a problem putting the little nuts on the little screws. Another problem is the illustrations are so small sometimes it's not clear what you are to do. There is no text instructions, just illustrations. Wayfair was great to deal with; gave me a great price, had great communications and got the package to me very quickly. I recommend this shed and Wayfair for the reasons I've listed. But again. be very careful handling the metal pieces as they are very sharp. In fact they include a pair of mittens to use when handling the metal. But you can't work with the mittens on.. Anonymous.
