This king-size mattress (medium firm) in a box was a good choice! The top material is a nice grey color, with a honeycomb padding which is a nice change from the old fashion white mattresses. Once fully expanded out of the box it puffed up almost completely, however I let it sit for 24 hours as instructed prior to sleeping on it. The upper layer of pillow top has a cooling feature which actually is exactly as described! I discovered this feature the first night sleeping on it. We do love the mattress. Bought it for the extra bedroom and it did not disappoint. It fluffed up in about 48 hours. I did use the space heater effect the first day to get it started and I think it helped tremendously because it was delivered during a cold snap here in CO. The bed and mattress are both new!. Karen. I am an atheltic/active preson but was having neck issues. I went to the Wayfair store and tested this pillow based on the sales persons suggestions on my needs, shoulder size and side sleeping.
