Easy assembly however it does take about 6 hours to but together. There were a few undrilled boards. Also the cover doesn't stay on with windy days with it being Velcro. We love this dog house. We have a 110 pound German shepherd who prefers being outside. I never grew up with an outdoor dog so I was extremely hesitant to move him full time to our backyard, but this dog house made it an easier choice. He’s super happy and so are we. One thing to note is the installation is very tricky. We thought we could do it ourselves but we ended up paying someone 700 to build it for us. We absolutely love the design and quality of materials. The color is a bit more orange once you open it up. The real issue is the assembly instructions. My wife and are are very hands and have built many things. The main issue is that the order which things are assembled left some big issues towards the end.
