I was really disappointed when I received this cat tree. First, the pieces were thrown in the box and the parts that were in a plastic bag looked dirty. There were no instructions. There are no screws to affix the plastic bowl part. I figured out how to assemble but the product description says it has a heavier bottom and a non-slip and silent cotton pad -- the bottom is not heavier and there is no pad. Every time my sweet boy goes to sharpen his claws on a pillar, I have to hold it down or it could flip. I wanted to rate it 1 or 2 Stars but for some reason my sweet boy loves being by it. We bought this to replace a Doyenworld FunBox which is, sadly, currently unavailable. The FunBox was made of sturdy cardboard, came with a thick scratch pad for the inside bottom, and cost 40% less, but is looking ragged after almost 2 YEARS of hard play by our 2 cats.
