This product imparts a greater gloss than Marmoleum has out of the box. I'd call it satin. We like the shine. Since it is a Forbo product it should be the most compatible treatment available. The instructions say it both cleans and shines though it makes sense to thoroughly sweep then clean the floor with mild detergent and water or the Forbo cleaner first. Well the product itself is okay-ish. It looks decent for fake wood look and the pattern doesn’t repeat in the box of six planks. It fits together perfectly and with ease. There is a slight strip of discoloration along the edges on some planks. The color is a very muted unsaturated brown. One plank was damaged in shipping right in the middle of the also the bigger issue is that the rest of the boxes I ordered to complete the project are back ordered for six months. This stuff is pretty amazing. I had 3 tile with cracks and chips that were very obvious (sorry forgot to take a before photo). If you know where the repairs are, and get a few inches from the floor, you can see the fix. Even at what distance , it looks 10x better! We are in the process of remodeling our home. Today we are installing this product—and so far, it’s been super easy. There are 10 planks in a box and it was packaged incredibly well so as to avoid damage during shipping. The quality of the product is excellent. I love how easy it is to operate the tongue and groove system but there are a few pieces that have been tricky. It’s also a bit hard to match up the “knotholes” in the pattern. I was looking for a match for flooring I installed 10 years ago, I had a few boxes left over that I install and wanted to install it in another area and needed a few more boxes to complete but didn’t want to pay a flooring site $500 for it, Wayfair had this that looked identical in color and grain pattern but called a different name but same brand Mohawk. I purchased for $50 and took a chance and it is the same as Cheyenne Rock Oak with just a slight lighter shade, mixed with the other floor you can’t see any difference.can you see any difference in the photo. Looking for tiles for bathroom floor. I strongly suggest you get samples of tile first since often the computer does not show true color. I found that out by ordering several samples of different tiles. The bianco wasn't as white as the photo and was what I wanted. The tile boxes were quickly delivered( about 3 days) . I opened all the boxes to check for breakage and there were only a few with chipped corners. The tiles are really beautiful and the price was right. These interlocking deck tiles are great. They are relatively easy to lay as they just clip together. They can be put down as a straight line pattern or checkered pattern or both.
