It brightens your spirits in the morning to wake up to the sheep and the 100% safe cotton is refreshing. The sheets are a 400 thread count, 100% cotton with a sateen finish. I think that because the sheets were 100% cotton, they may have felt less silky, and caused me to sleep a little warmer than I would of slept on a combination material sheet? This is why I rated them 4 stars rather than 5. They have deep pockets, fit well & stayed in place on my 15" mattress. I washed the sheets before using them and they were wrinkly out of the dryer, this did not matter to me, after I put them on the mattress, most of the wrinkles disappeared.
