We absolutely love this dusk-to-dawn barn light! It has been perfect for our needs. We wanted our side patio and the stone stairs from the driveway down to the patio illuminated at night for safety, but we were constantly forgetting to turn our old light off in the morning. This commercial grade downlight is ideal for new construction when specified with a 4" x 2 1/8" square or octagonal J box. It is also conveniently UL Listed for wet conditions only indoor wet locations such as above a shower. For exterior they would need to be installed in damp location such as a covered porch, soffit, etc.. A place where the fixtures would not receive direct saturation.

Honestly I haven’t had the chance to install this yet but I have several friends that have used these before and it didn’t seem to be difficult.
