They arrived flat all in one box and were not very difficult to put together. My issue with these baskets were that once you got them to be stackable they were not pull-out as they were advertised. The product itself is decent, it's what I needed and fit the description. The box arrived pretty banged up, however. There was a big hole in the corner exposing the contents, several small holes on the top side. Once I opened the box, the packaging was a mess: corner cardboard pieces and styrofoam were torn apart with bits everywhere. I made sure nothing was damaged and all the pieces were there, so that's ok. The instruction sheet is a little blurry, like someone made a clumsy copy from an old copy. It seems like a product that was returned, which is fine, there's nothing wrong with that. But a little attention to detail would've revealed that it had been poorly packaged and a few extra pieces of thick cardboard would've prevented the contents from clanking around inside the box and maybe even falling out of that hole in the corner..
