This bracket features countersunk holes to provide a flush installation for added support. This is the perfect concealed bracket for countertop overhang. How to determine what size bracket: This bracket will be installed directly in the middle of your knee/pony wall to provide support to both sides of an overhang. This product is sized in length tip to tip. Start by measuring the entire length of your countertop. For example, you have a countertop of 28 inches. Subtract 3 inches from each side of the countertop. This subtraction is to stay away from the outer edge of the countertop, which is usually 2-4 inches. This gives us a total length of 22 inches (28 – 3 – 3 = 22), thus you would need to order 22 inch flat wall countertop support brackets. *If you are looking for holes placed on the end of the bracket, our knee wall countertop support bracket may be what you are looking for.

For countertop support, the T-Bracket Hidden Granite Bracket is the bracket support which will use the weight of the granite, to support your big granite countertop overhang on an island. The perfect concealed countertop overhang bracket. This Bracket lies across the top of the cabinet, half of the bracket will be inside of the cabinet and the other half will be exposed under the overhang. The vertical angle drops down on the inside back of the cabinets and is used to hold the T- Bracket in place until the granite is put in place. This will give your granite the appearance of floating once installed. **PLEASE NOTE: The vertical piece [tang] is welded in the center of the horizontal piece. Therefore, if you have a 10-inch bracket the vertical piece [tang] is directly in the center of the bracket, giving you approximately 5 inches on each side of the T-Bracket. Meaning there will be approximately 5 inches inside the cabinet and 5 inches on your overhang.
