If I could give these brackets 0 stars I would. First disappointment we’ve received from Wayfair. They are crudely made, patches of chipped paint everywhere, none of the holes are even aligned with each other for the screws, they are warped on the base side and the actual shelf part of the bracket is crooked. We are having to cut, grind, repaint and measure the brackets at unequal widths just to get them leveled on the wall. The amount of work we had to put into these is not worth the expensive price. They looked like someone’s first welding class assignment. VERY disappointed. Made of thick by 4 wide of American steel Protected with textured powder coat paint Nearly invisible Contractor Grade Countersunk holes for flush installation. Easy to install: Simply rout out an " inch deep by 4" recess into the top of the cabinet and screw the Support Bracket Bracket in place with screws. Holes are countersunk for flush installation. These brackets look great, paint up well (I got the primed only), and seem sturdy enough right now. But the last ones I bought - very similar design - I had custom made and the welds were definitely much more beefy and solid all the way around on those. These brackets appear to have just 2 tack welds where the curved part of the bracket meets each flat plate. We'll see if they hold up. They are not loose in any way though.. Nancy. This countertop support Bracket by The Original Granite Bracket is contractor grade and made of thick 1/4" American steel. Recommended spacing is every 16 inches apart. Easy to install Made of thick by 4 wide of American steel. Protected with textured powder coat paint. Countersunk holes for flush installation. Simply rout out an " inch deep by 4" recess into the top of the cabinet and screw the Support Bracket Bracket in place with screws. Holes are countersunk for flush installation. Once installed they are virtually invisible.

We spent many weeks trying to find the proper bracket to hold up a bar countertop in our basement.
