This fan is so quiet, you wouldn’t know it was running- if not for the wind! It is a true 6 speed fan, not just 3 speeds in two directions, which I’ve seen advertised in other fans. The amount of wind is quite impressive, that rarely do I set it above 3 anyhow. Installation was really quite simple, and not as complicated as the many pieces would have you assume. Beautiful light, but Minka Lavery's installation instructions are terrible. It would be helpful if they provided blow up pictures of each screw and the location this screw is used.
