Unfortunately we live in Minnesota and it has not been weather to be putting up an outside shed. My husband has decided to haul the boxes over to his shop and put it together over there and then put it on a large trailer and haul it back to our home. He read the instruction manual - it was more like a book but the instructions seemed quite good! We opened the box and the color of the shed seems to be exactly as pictured. I'm anxious to see the shed when it's all put together. I will post a picture of it when it's all set up. It was hard to give it a star rating but i gave it 5 stars because when we have seen seems really good! Here is a picture of the shed all set up. Major storm here so it will have to stay in the shed for several more days! My husband put it together in 2 days - not working all day but it till took several house. He was very pleased at how easy it was to assemble! Everything was vey clearly marked and all the parts and pieces were in the box! It is a very nice looking shed and seems very spacious inside. I just put this up, and it has the most detailed instructions I've ever seen! All of the parts were there, everything numbered, everything fit together real well, I also like how you can take the ends of the shelter off and back on, Ididn't put them on from the beginning but I don't think it's going to be a big deal you just got to go up under the collar that comes around the end to keep weather out when you do have the ends on there. I'm not using the anchoring ropes into the ground, taking one to a tree and the other two into the house. I'll just have to wait and see if it can stand up to South Florida weather. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I'm pleased with the shed I finished two days ago. We're using it as storage and a workshop while we convert our garage into a playroom for our kids. There are several things we like about it, including the design, ample space, affordable price, and the fact that it's easy to maintain with just a pressure wash. However, there are a few downsides. Since it's made of plastic, some of the pieces didn't fit together as smoothly as expected, despite my efforts to level the platform and deburr the edges. Specifically, some of the corner trim was slightly too long, which prevented the corner roof panels from fitting properly. Additionally, the holes in the top tiles didn't line up exactly with the main roof panels, even though the panels lined up with the trusses and walls. The window latches were also difficult to turn, and I had to trim the plastic inserts significantly to get them to work. I'll need to contact Lifetime to get a couple of replacement windows due to a manufacturing defect. Despite these minor issues, I'm satisfied with the shed overall. I did have some difficulty putting most of it together alone. The doors absolutely require two people, so it's definitely easier with help throughout. I'm glad I received good help with the doors. I didn't need to level or have any issues with the door assembly. I love the rolling double door and single door. It's great to open it up in nice weather and makes it convenient for ventilation when using a table saw and then blowing out the sawdust. The directions, YouTube video, and BILT app were helpful and straightforward. If you have DIY experience, it's not overwhelming, but it's still a big project that took me a full workweek to complete. There were a lot of screws and bolts, and it was much more time-consuming than the two other plastic sheds I've built before. I didn't read the fine print on the actual size which is slightly smaller than 4x6. The inside dimensions are: (floor) 42" wide x 68" long, (room) 43.5" wide x 70.5" long x 76" high at peak. I suggest placing the unit on at least 1/2" plywood and screwing it down as recommended. I also highly suggest putting plywood on the floor because the corrugated plastic is spongy and will crush or puncture with too much weight. Now, let me address the people who had problems building this...you shouldn't be building anything if this unit was a problem. I'm an out of shape 5'5", 62 yr old female and the ONLY help I needed was to lift the roof on! The tools I used were a cordless drill/driver, a rubber mallet and the plastic spatula they included. I took my time with breaks and doing other stuff and was done in one day. Easy Peasy.
