This mirror is absolutely breathtaking and actually looks better in person vs. online photos. I can’t imagine the time it took to painstakingly place the thousands of shells that cover the elaborate frame. It arrived in heavy Fort-Knox-like packaging to protect it and takes 2 people to unpack. I was amazed that there were only 2 lonely little shells that had come loose and is totally undetectable. The cleat hanger that’s attached is extremely strong but unfortunately the wall hanger part was missing. Perigold offered to replace it but it would take so long and I was able to purchase a set at my local hardware store. I had a handyman hang it, but I did help him to lift it because of its awkward shape and weight. I love it in my kitchen nook but it would be suitable for any room in my home. This is the quietest range hood I have ever used with an unique design. The installation is straight forward for most with video tutorial online that's readily available. I went with a professional installation. This range hood is rated at 1100cfm and the unique design has worked very well. My home no longer smells even when I deep fry. I did two modifications for my installation. I went with a Zephyr 6"-8" duct increaser. The reason I did this is because the range hood is rated over 1000cfm. This might not be necessary but it's a choice I made for myself because of the rated CFM. My installation required a 4" spacer piece. I used 6" 10-32 fine thread screws to secure my upper cabinet to the range hood to make up the 4" spacer difference. This is not necessary according to Fotile but I went the extra mile for $13 more in screws, bolts, and washers. So far I am very satisfied with how quiet and powerful it is.
