These beautiful chairs (in Vintage Tekwood) arrived carefully packaged and fully assembled. (The large carton is on the heavy side.) They chairs are light weight and stack easily, but they are very sturdily constructed. The chair seats are very comfortable as is and even more so with cushions -- the seats accommodate my existing cushions. The chair backs are a bit more upright than I had hoped, but they will be perfect for dining. If you are seeking chairs for reading / lounging, you might want something with a bit more slant or recline to the back. I also bought the 47" dining table (in Vintage Tekwood) to go with these chairs. The set was scheduled to be delivered on Monday, but arrived on Friday. I am a very happy customer. Overall, a decent set. I looked and looked and looked for the perfect outdoor dining set. I was hoping this one wouldn’t have too much of that gold edging that looks fake and there is a bit more than I hoped for, but not too much. Unfortunately, the set comes with silver screws, of which we were aware. They are very unsightly. For just over 50 we purchased Stainless steel black washers and screws to replace all of the silver ones. Why the manufacturer couldn’t do that is beyond my comprehension.
