We did a mini makeover on one of our bathrooms. Painted the cabinet, replaced the counter top with granite and paired this sink and faucet to finish it off. I picked out the granite before having the sink in hand based on the picture, and it worked out perfectly. The sink is deep and beautifully made. The picture is a good color representation, etc.. Over thousands of years, the process of fossilization has replaced all the organic materials in the wood with minerals, keeping the structure of the wood, but effectively turning it into stone.
