This whirlpool tub is a great tub to replace a normal size tub if you want the luxury without adding space to a bathroom. It is very calming and relaxing. The jets aren't super strong, but they are enough to help muscles relax. My teenagers love using this after sports, and my husband and I enjoy it after work. Each of my family has said they think this was a good purchase. Having the heater helps a lot. It doesn't make the water "hot" but it keeps it at the temperature that it was originally or slightly warmer. Have a professional install to make sure it is set up correctly helps! Nice looking tub, but while inspecting prior to install notices that the holes were very rough with burrs that would catch the threads on a cloth, would definitely scratch you in the tub. Repair person was sent and it can be fixed. Unfortunately after install we found that light shines directly through the tub and the fiberglass is paper thin (noticed from a plumbing hatch in the closet behind the tub). The fiberglass repair guy says it will need to be removed and be reinforced to properly fix. The real question is what else will be wrong with this tub?! Great solution for a small bathroom. We have a mid century modern home and the largest bathroom is small. We wanted a soaking tub with jets but worried about what could be done in the small alcove we had to work with. This tub is great. Wish it was a little taller to offer a deeper seat because we’re not small people, but it’s comfortable, jets are powerful (you can’t use bubble bath with these jets), and I can’t tell how much of a difference the bask heating feature makes but it stays warm enough for a reasonable bath.
