Rug pad use is required for all area rugs, in all applications. The rug pad is the foundation for your carpet, responsible for enhancing both comfort and durability. The rug pad is meant to serve as a barrier between the rug and the floor, reducing friction and wear on the rug, as a result of foot traffic. Secondly, the rug pad grips the rug, allowing the rug to lay flat, drape down on the edges, and optimize its visual appearance. The third purpose of a rug pad is to prevent the rug from slipping and bubbling when walked on, to ensure safety. The quality and construction of rug pads are surprisingly very relevant.

Hands down the best dug pad Ive ever come across. Keeps carpet cleaner and off the floor below it. Richard. US. Mon Dec 25 2023

Works great! The rug sticks to the pad and the pad sticks to the ground, and the thickness is just enough to make the rug feel more plush without becoming a tripping hazard. We trimmed it down slightly to make it fully fit under the rug so the ends would lay flatter, which I found was easier with heavy duty kitchen shears than standard scissors.. Ratter. Carrollton, TX. 100% Felt rug pad designed to add comfort and floor protection under rugs. Reversible for use on hard surfaces and carpet, ideal for uneven surfaces, and reduces puckering under heavy furniture. It can be cut at home to custom-fit any rug. Ideally, the rug pad should be cut approximately 1-2" short of the rug perimeter. Your rug pad dimensions will be a few inches shorter than the size of the area rug. This is NOT a defect nor is it the wrong item, the rug pads are made this way to avoid causing the rug to have a lip which would get in the way of walking, a door opening etc.

I have purchased several of these rug pads over the last few years. The quality is good. They work very well on hardwood floor floors would highly recommend.. Gina. Greensburg, PA. Sun May 24 2026

Revival made a better washable rug. Made of recycled materials and done in calm neutrals, with an extraordinarily comfortable pile, these pieces are not mats: they’re the real deal, thick and soft to cushion every step. Plus, their lightness and foldability makes washing easy. The Vessel rugs celebrate the art of basketweaving, drawing on intricate patterns and textures that have been passed through generations. Just as there are myriad techniques of rug weaving, there are many ways to weave a Vessel. Each design’s texture mimics the techniques of coiling, plaiting and twining, achieved by juxtaposing raised and shrunken parts of the fiber. Rush has a dainty tone-on-tone raised chevron pattern, intricate and subtle.

It’s a super pretty color, thickness for price is totally fair. Easy to vacuum, I have not washed yet but I don’t anticipate any issues there. I just wish I had chosen a larger size.. Anonymous. Fri Jul 31 2026
