When dried it has a clear finish, unlike polyurethane products, which will leave a sticky yellowish residue. Unfortunately, most garden decor comes directly from the manufacturer without UV protection leaving your outdoor investment "exposed". Outdoor decor needs sunscreen too!

We have been using this umbrella for about 2 weeks now. It is well constructed. The assembly instructions are very clear. I really liked the way all of the bolts and tools were packaged to make it clear and easy. The hardest part was lugging 250 pounds of sand to the back yard and pouring that sand into the base. We also added water. That being said, the umbrella appears very stable (which is important). The rest of the assembly was easy. I think the only real downside to this umbrella is that even though it has wheels on the base it is very hard for 2 people to move it- this being the tradeoff for overall stability.. Kd. Boston. Update to my review. Less than a year later and one spinner won’t spin in the wind at all now though it turns by hand. The other is only spinning on the top. Has anyone figured out how to fix it Took it apart, oiled screws and put back together and still isn’t working the same.
