[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ClosetMaid Impression Wood closet system was easy to assemble with minimal tools and it looks fantastic!! The instructions made sense and were easy to follow. There were 2 of us putting everything together. Our closet is a little smaller and because we have sliding closet doors, we needed to install the 2 shelves side by side with the rods on the outside. It ended up working out easily though to adapt this closet system to what made sense for our space. I really like that it comes with trim to make it look more built-in and clean. The locking mechanism for the rods is cool, they feel very strong and supported. One thing to note, the top shelves are not the same depth as the cabinets which ends up looking fine but something to know. They are about 2 inches smaller and sit a little back from the shelving unit. I also found it strange that the rods aren’t underneath the shelves, instead they are right under the trim. Somethings I wish could be improved about this closet system: I wish the brackets for the shelves were white, I wish there were white stickers to put over screw tops, and I wish there was a way to hide the wall brackets that attach the shelving units to the wall.
