I live this rug so much that I bought 2 more. It is vibrant in color so you can’t be afraid of bold colors. It works well with the art and decor of my home and given its darker colors, I’m hopeful it will wear well in the heavy traffic area. This is by far my most favorite purchases from Wayfair so far. It is a very heavy durable carpet. It takes two people to transport it but once you put it in the room, it is so elegant. I originally bought this rug for a different space in our home, but ended up using it upstairs in our rec room area. Neutral color with lines of dark gray, light gray, and white running through it. I was thinking it was much more of a solid lighter color with the pictures online. Depending on your lighting, it might lean a little bit to the ivory side, not “yellowy”, though (that’s one of the toughest things about ordering things like rugs online, and not being able to really see the color in person). For reference, our vinyl plank flooring does have gray undertones. The LED lights in our upstairs are very “cool“. I would think in a warmer light, the rug might be a little more neutral looking. It is a nice, well-made rug. That has been my experience with all of the Safavieh rugs I’ve purchased over the years. They have a nice backing and are high-quality!. Megan. MO. Mon Oct 20 2025

We live our new rug! It is soft and lays down flat on all corners. It doesn’t show dog hair and is easy to vacuum. It really brightens up the living space.
