This is the stoneware set I always dreamed of having- one with character and presence. I have had glazed stoneware that was so bland. This set is very beautiful-the glaze is simple. And the dark flecks are gorgeous. They have a Studio Blue- I found that a bit too busy. But the Studio Grey is actually shades of blue. The Light Grey is a grey blue. And the dark grey is a deeper shade of grey blue. I bought a set of extra bowls and dinner plates in the darker grey- PERFECTION! Looks great with my new kitchen. Can it comment of wear and tear. But these are hefty and deserve any extra care required. Very neatly Stackable. Love these dishes!!! And the packing is so over the top wrapped- not a single one was chipped or had imperfection. A on every aspect.. Mardy R. Nw Connecticut. Sat Feb 24 2024

Rice is better in the right bowl! This is an additional bowl. The other is a beautiful blue but matching colors or collections is not a priority when the serving dish is perfect. Chopsticks can be used and the amount of rice that the bowl holds is just enough for a single serving.. Loretta. Morgantown, WV. Wed Mar 13 2024

Mcfall Series draws inspiration from river stones, sun-washed clay, and the soft light of early mornings. Dual-reactive glazes flow across the surface, creating layered textures and subtle tonal shifts—no two pieces are alike. Bowls echo the smoothness of pebbles shaped by time, while plates capture the stillness of earth meeting sky. With its handcrafted feel and organic charm, Mcfall brings a grounded, timeless calm to every meal.

We like them we bought two sets of the brown. Daniel. St Charles Mo. Sun Sep 20 2026

Inspired by Ellen's love of artisanal, yet simple designs, ED crafted by Royal Doulton encourages everyone to embrace their style and express their individuality throughout all parts of life. Ellen's neutral dinnerware story features the brushed glaze collection, a distinctly unique set with hand-brushed rims. This collection highlights a natural hand-glazed contrast of matte and shines while revealing the stoneware beneath. Dining is easy with the 16-piece set, offering complete service for four. Usual Denby quality but disappointingly small, had ordered online and expected a shallow cereal bowl but was about half the size !. David. Undisclosed. Fri Aug 20 2021

The product is inspired by the trend for a natural aesthetic in the home using honest materials and ceramic crafting techniques. With a dramatic charcoal band of color framing, many items and its contemporary granite and quartz-colored textured, reactive glazes, this product create a casual, uncluttered yet impactful look that works around the home and far beyond the kitchen. The glaze is a cool gray and has a bluish undertone.

No complaints at all. The Studio series is heavier and more rustic than other series Denby makes. I wish I had known that earlier, as I would have bought more items from the Studio series. But I enjoy having a mix-and-match collection. These feel very nice in the hand and look beautiful on a shelf or table.. Susie. IL. Fri Mar 20 2026

Impress your guests with this premium dinnerware set. Brimming with an eye-catching style, this must-have item adds a touch of fun to your dinner table. You can mix and match with casual pieces or keep them for special occasions and or holiday meals.

Perfect farmhouse dinnerware nicely sized, especially the mugs which are nicely weighted and not too large like many mugs are now days. The dishes are a pleasing medium gray color with darker speckles and bronze/brown-colored rims. This dinnerware seems to be of decent quality and does NOT get hot in the microwave. One mug came with a chipped rim, and another had a defect inside; one plate had a deep scratch, so I have requested replacements. I used sandpaper on the unglazed bottoms where they were a little rough, so they won't scratch the other plates when stacking. Hopefully, this set won't have to be babied too much because it is basically what I was looking for and was reasonably priced: $40.00 on sale. Unfortunately, this set is made in a communist country, and Wayfair needs to be more transparent about country of origin in their descriptions.. R. Newfolden, MN. Tue Feb 28 2023
