Update Wayfair owed upto the delay and refunded us partially for the extra money we had to pay to the installers due to last minute cancellation. Additionally, we heard back from Strong Spas senior management and they are sending a technician to evaluate the spa and fix anything that needs to be done. We were initially worried about whether manufacturer is reliable but so far, they have been communicating with us promptly. Increasing rating to 4 stars and will further update once it’s up and running and we can use it. Initial Review The bottom of the spa has punctured holes which have been created somewhere in the shipping process. Wayfair was kind to connect with the manufacturer but now waiting for a fix. Prior to this, delivery was delayed because the item was too heavy. Item was finally delivered but with a Punctured base that would cause a rodent or insect issue later. I’d recommend this hot tub. After lots of research, I liked the Saluspa brand and wanted to be able to use it all year with winter protection. The pumpmotor is built into the side of the tub so it should help keep it protected over winter. It comes with an inflatable cover that has a skirt around the edge to keep in the heat. We took a road trip from PA to SC last week, and I followed the pre chilling suggestions (set both sections to -4° for a minimum of 3-4 hours before filling) from the reviews.. I adjusted one section to 34° after I filled the refrigerated food while leaving the the frozen food set to -4°. I did add a few freezer blocks to the tops of both sections before we closed the lids. On the trip down we stayed overnight in a hotel halfway to SC.. To my delight our food was in perfect condition when we unpacked it!!
