This panel is made up of over 190 pieces of hand-cut, stained art glass, expertly pieced and soldered together, to create each panel. I bought one exactly like this a few years ago and LOVE it. I just moved and have two windows next to each other. So, I bought this one so that both windows have them at the top. I know I will get compliments, because I did on the first one. Daylight or lights shining through are so beautiful. I never got that look with stained colored glass. These two together are so classy. The glass screen is made up of over 290 pieces of hand-cut, stained art glass and 9 glass beads, each wrapped in a fine copper foil and soldered together at high heat to form each unique shade. The door looks great however it is very heavy. The door itself was easy to assemble but installing the slide bar was very difficult. I wouldn’t have purchased it if I had known how hard it would be.
