Wow, these chairs are nice! I was surprised by the nice, solid wood components and large lag bolts. Webbing is also done very well and should last a long, long time. They are nice looking chairs and will work for us for the time being, but I can see why they were offered at a great clearance price. Three of the four chairs have damage we'll repair, as it's not worth trying to return them. They come as one piece (no assembly) and the box is huge! The damage is that the plastic rattan wrap around the legs has unraveled on 2 of the chairs, and the arm of a third chair has some damage that should be glued down. Because the plastic is polyethelene, you can't use just any glue, you need a bonding epoxy so I will be buying some tomorrow to address these issues. It looks great! Sturdy and sleek. The directions were sketches and clear to understand. All pieces were well marked! It took us several hours to finish putting it together mostly because we don't often construct things. The first pieces were difficult because we had to be on our knees to screw it together, after that all was well. Small tools included. When you get to the part where you attach an inner ring to the outer legs, we used the large box it came in to hold it in place by placing it under the metal pieces- which balanced it and held it in place while you screw in place..
