This was easy to put together and looks exactly like the picture. The girls are happy but it is not that insulated. I have a thermometer inside and the temperature is about the same as outside. During the summer, the girls have roosted outside on their perch. I hope they will move inside when it gets colder!. Denise. Oakhurst, CA. Sun Oct 04 2026

Great coop for the price! Bought this as a starter coop and it surpassed my expectations. Easy to assemble - as other reviewers stated, the wood is thin and prone to splitting. Slow and steady when tightening the screws is key. The removable tray for cleaning is a plus. Wheels are great for moving it around. I painted it to match the house!. Kimberly. Traverse City, MI. Its an ok coop, put together with little difficulty. The ramp hinges broke soon after, the chickens knock over their roosting bars. Other than that it seems to be working out alright. I like the windows for ventilation, the nesting boxes.. Theresa. Fayetteville, NY. Tue Oct 20 2026

Smart nesting box & ergonomic perch keep chickens happy. Roomy 37.6"L design fits 4-6 adults. Perfect for chickens, ducks, rabbits—backyard bliss made simple!

I bought this Coop to turn it into a feral cat house with a lot of modifications. I am happy with the results. I insulated it with 1 in foam insulation board, made two levels two escape doors in an entrance. I screened all the windows and added all the plastic to the front so that I can roll it down when the weather gets cold and tack it to the frame to help keep them warm I put linoleum on the floor and added two heated dog pads. I painted the whole thing as there was no way this would be waterproof without it. I added tinted plastic corrugated roofing to cover the existing roof to protect it and also to make that more waterproof. If making modifications be careful cutting the boards because they are only attached at the edges of the frame. It took me a month to complete this but I am very happy with it. Two of my ferals have already been in and out of it several times. It is now ready for a cold winter.. Anonymous. Indiana, PA. Thu Oct 22 2026

Okay! SO- first time chicken owner here. We live in Maryland and are raising chicks and ducks from babies. We live in the woods and therefore have a ton of natural predators. The coop on its own is not SUPER sturdy, but not the worst quality I have seen and works well for a yard that slopes. There are some gaps, so we enclosed the top and bottom with hardware mesh stapled into the wood and secured with cement blocks just to be sure everything would be safe, and so far so good! The cover seems like it will be reasonable for the raincolder temps. Used Wayfair assembly service, which was good but it did take 3 men four hours to assemble just FYI. Overall, happy!. Anonymous. Great coop! Large and roomy! Easy to put together. The only two complaints are the latches for the doors are not the greatest. We ended up replacing them. We bought this for 8 Duccles. And the nesting boxes are small if you put the dividers in. It gives you 3 nesting boxes on both sides. But you can easily take out the dividers and just have one large nesting box on each side. I think a regular size chicken would find it difficult to nest with the dividers in. The wood seems to be good quality. I like the top screens for ventilation. It has two doors but we will only use the ramp door. I love it overall.. Tamara. College Station, TX. Wed Oct 21 2026

I love this coop! It’s cute and perfect for what I need it for. Exactly what I wanted. Fair price for what it is. I did have a problem with a couple of things when assembling. First the bar going across the middle base was the opposite direction than shown in the instructions. I made it work, hopefully the floor holds up. second the hardware for the last part of the roof were pre installed backwards and up too high. Pictures attached in order. I was able to move the hinges down and flip. but now there is random holes.. Samantha. Princeton, MN. Mon Apr 13 2026

I Love this coop! It was very easy to put together because it had dowels. I did it by myself. It probably took me 90 minutes. It’s great quality. I bought one that looked just like this on Temu and it was very bad quality. My only issues were the low roosting bars (I raised one) and the tight nesting boxes. I removed the dividers and that helped a lot. I also put carabiner latch locks on the doors.. Sara. Dallas, TX. Tue Oct 21 2025
