The water is taken from your water source and filtered through the filters and then through the machines hot and cold water tanks. The tanks hold 1 liter of hot water and 3.6 liters of cold water. The filter will purify the tap water eliminating any chlorine, lead, rust, and bacteria. There is also a built-in leak detector to automatically monitor the water flow from the water source into the machine. This Espresso Machine was a little difficult to get started as the directions were not clear. It took hitting the espresso button multiple times to get it started working. Wayfair has fair prices, & when I need an item from an older year, they don't disappoint too often, Such as The older Models like, Brio water dispenser, The XL Air Fryer, also this Dart Board. I gave my first one which was personal to a friend and they passed away and I didn't feel right, taking it back, we played often, it's a cool talking dart board, it say jokes about how someone is throwing but it's also an affirmation source as well.
