This is 5 years in and it has faded drastically and started to deteriorate in the spots that weren't covered by furniture or pots. This rug looks great in our family room. Has more shimmer than what you can see in the pictures, but not mad about it (actually like it better). The pile is pretty tight and the rug is soft. The only issue with this particular brand is the rugs ship folded (as stated in the product reviews) it wasn't an issue with this design/pile, but it was with one we returned. The pattern features tiny rows with varying colors of light gray and white that remind us of white caps on waves and clouds rolling in. We love that it has a medium pile height of 0.28'', which makes it a great combination of cushy and still easier to vacuum. We recommend picking up a rug pad to use with this area rug to keep it in place.

Looks better in person. Love the thickness, color, and design. I placed in a high traffic area and it is getting worn.
