They’re good looking shelves. They come with multiple methods to mount the shelves whether you’re mounting your studs or to drywall, there’s wall anchors and lag bolts both to get the job done. I docked one star because they’re not made with the highest craftsmanship. The cleat is tacked together haphazardly. The cleat and the facade both are a tiny bit lopsided making it just a bit more difficult to level a shelf and align adjacent shelves. However once installation is complete, and frankly once you’ve lucked out on getting them straight and orderly, they do look quite good and they feel sturdy. These shelves are sturdy and look great! The only reason I gave them 4 stars and not 5 (and I would give them 4.5 if this were an option) is the difficulty in mounting them. I am no stranger to a drill, which is absolutely necessary for mounting, but because the holes for the molly bolts are large and fairly close together, I ended up with one big hole in my drywall as the two holes collapsed into one when I started putting in the molly bolts. As a result, I had to adjust the location in order to cover it up the hole. Also, they are made for drywall, so if your placement is on a wood beam, you are kind of screwed (no pun intended ;-] ) unless you plan ahead and use a different kind of screw, which is not included.
