When I read the Product Overview, the description said the cable was included. But, what I didnt notice was that the transformer is not included. So, the only cables that are included are the small ones that come from each of the 10 lights to attach to a main cable and transformer, but that has to be purchased separately before they can be installed. There are 10 lights, and they look quite sleek. I think they will be great along my cobblestone walkway in front of my house. At dusk, they literally pop up and light up, giving you lights along a pathway, driveway, deck, or dock that aren't in your way during the day. Prior to first use, charge the light for two sunny days. If battery capacity reduces over time, switch the light off for 3-5 sunny days in order to boost the batteries. We are still tweaking where to place these two lights we purchased. Our driveway entrance is darker than dark. These lights focus the light up the trunk of 2 very large spruce trees on either side of the driveway. The solar panel has a long cord which helps them get away from the shadow of the trees. These are very bright & do have hefty stakes to put in the ground. Only drawback is a longer cord option would help when using to light a larger dark space. Very nice and bright path led lights, nice tented design. Nice matt finish, sturdy, with 3 hight adjustments. Opaque glass cover the light source. The challenge was the electric connectors. They are a comply new design to us, kind of light duty. The metal to splice into your ground wire was not sharp. So we precut the ground wire. It worked. Then the sleeve that fits over with a metal tong, needs to go into the grove. It can slip behind, rater then go into the grove to make the connection. They look great!!!! Worth the learning curve!. We hoped to create a warm and inviting outdoor design with this 12 set of low voltage LED spotlights. The description boasted each light delivering 5W, 600 lumens of soft 3000K, safe 12V operation making installation simple and energy-efficient. Unfortunately we will need a professional electrician to hook up the spotlights as we mistakenly thought they were solar light and realized our skill level did not proved correct. These LED lights are pretty nice quality metal. Each light has 3' cord attached that you need to then attach to a power source which is nit included with the set (roughly $30 for it). The lights put out a pretty decent downward cast-perfect for lighting the sidewalk without blinding you as you walk by.
