It just got delivered today, so I can’t say anything about durability yet, but the dogs love it. My boy has always loved laying under things - my desk, his beds, my bed, etc. He also gets hot quickly, though, so I liked this design better than the blanket type cave beds for him. The plush inside is SO soft and there’s a lot of padding. The inside pad can be removed and washed. This is the large size. The fawn boxer is around 72 lbs and the brindle is around 59 lbs. Both fit comfortably in the large. A 5’4 human female can also fit in it curled up. Lol. Sarah. Sat Feb 03 2024

My cats and I love this beautiful, comfy Dakota Fields rattan cat bed! Our 10-month old kittens, Linus and Samwise, ran up and into it the second I unboxed it. Well, Linus got in, and Sam wanted to join him! Now the bed is on our cat shelves, and our 12-year old Flame Point Siamese mix Oscar sleeps in it every morning after breakfast. I took the pic of him curled up and sleeping deeply as I was writing this review. Oscar is almost 13 lbs, and Linus is about 11 lbs, and they both fit very well. I do not see how anyone could find this bed too small. Both Linus and Sam fit last week, though they are not full grown yet. Linus, the white and tabby cat, also likes it when Oscar is not there first. The pillow is very large for a cat pillow, but they seem to like it now. The bed is very sturdy and well-made, so it is definitely another Wayfair win for the entire household.. Lee. Pullman, WA. Sat Aug 08 2026
