This modern white fan is so much better looking than our outdated brown fan! It is sleek and since we have it attached to switches in our bedroom, we didn't even need to install the pull-chains. My husband has installed several fans and said this one wasn't the easiest to install. I love the look of it BUT the light is truly laughable. It is like a spotlight....shines directly downward and does not emit any light to the sides so basically we just have one spotlight in the middle of our room. We looked around for a long time to find this fan! I purchased this fan for my family room. It arrived well packed and quickly. It's been fantastic! I love this fan for it's looks more than any other fan in our home. It's just beautiful, not an eye sore like some fans can be. Transitional, modern, clean. I like the white, it disappears into the ceiling. The gold is a nice touch. It can go in almost any style of room. It elegantly updated my family room. Minka Aire moves the air around well and we really can't even hear it other than the soft sound of air moving. The remote makes it convenient to use and has a lot of nice features. The light is nice although we also have 4 can lights because the ceiling is tall and it was needed due to the size of the room and ceiling height.
