We’re in the start of a much needed full bath remodel and one of our wish list items is a smart toilet after experiencing one on vacation. We have not yet installed this one but wanted to get it unpacked and give it some “test sits” since the shape is somewhat different than your typical elongated toilet. The seat feels slightly different in width but the more noticeable difference being the length of the opening in th seat. From front to back it’s 2” shorter. In fact the overall depth is 2” shorter which will be nice in our small bathroom. We want to do some more dry runs comparing the fell of this shorter style before we commit to installing it. The look is very nice and the toilet is pretty heavy. The finishes are smooth and high end in appearance. Found the perfect installation product! I was looking to make an old fixture smart automated and this SkyPlug canopy kit allowed me do just that. The company has a SkyHome app that controls my light and best part was how easy it was to install the plug and canopy onto my fixture. After installing the outlet and plugging in my Eurofase fixture I realized how dirty the glass was. Such a great ride-on car for my two 2-year-old nephews! It has a lot of great features, including realistic sound effects, a remote control for parents, Bluetooth connectivity for music, and three speed settings that are easy to manage. Our only drawbacks were with the steering and remote control. After turning, the wheels don't automatically straighten back out, so it takes a few small adjustments to get the car driving straight again. Also, I couldn't find a way to disable the gas pedal while using the remote control. Because of that, our toddlers would press the pedal and turn the steering wheel, sometimes overriding the remote controls, which can be a little unsafe. Overall, though, this is a sturdy, stylish ride-on car at a very affordable price. Despite the few minor issues, we're very happy with it and would definitely recommend it!. Anonymous. This toilet looks great and I'm sure it works great but this is not for DIY. I carried this very heavy thing up two flights of stairs and tried to install it in three different places in our home but ran into problems in every location. If the drain is not EXACTLY 10" from the wall it won't fit. If the water supply is on the wall or floor to close to the toilet it won't fit. I called a plumber and he said it would cost several thousand dollars to move drains, move the water supplies, fix the walls and refit the floors so we won't be using it. Please check out the pic I sent of the first thing they show in the instructions so you can very carefully measure before you order something that is not going to work and won't fit in an older house.. I’ve got a fairly long and steep concrete driveway that is starting to show its age a little bit. There has been some minor cracking from the freeze-thaw cycle each winter. I decided to try the Armour SX5000 water-based sealant to see if it would improve the situation. I have delayed writing this review for a bit as I wanted to driveway to go through at least one winter season. I first pressure washed the entire driveway surface which is pretty time consuming. I then applied the Armour sealant with a manual pump sprayer. This part went fairly quickly. The trick is to get the sealant covering the driveway well, but not so much as to create puddles that aren’t absorbed. I made sure there was no rain in the forecast for a couple of days. Initially, I did half of the driveway first and the first day that it rained the difference on the two sides was very noticeable. Water on the coated side was beading and running off and on the other side it was being absorbed into the concrete. My driveway has now gone through two winters and the sealant is still somewhat effective, but I think I will need to coat it again this fall.. Bryan. Halifax, NS. Fri Mar 27 2026
