The 60x30” classic American style solid surface freestanding resin stone soaking tub exceeded my expectations. I was shopping for a client who requested specific interior dimensions on the tub—and this beautiful, high-quality soaking tub matched her desired parameters. The finish on the tub is matte, not shiny like an acrylic or glazed cast tub. It looks like white stone. Wayfair delivered the item in great packaging, crated in a wooden box with plenty of wrapping inside. The tub arrrived with no damage, and was installed without issue. Moving this tub is not for the faint of heart—it weighs in at more than 300 pounds, and it took three grown men to move it—so plan on help to set it in its permanent location. All in all we are very satisfied with this soaking tub. This tub is very large and deep. The drain is high enough to get completely covered and it is long enough to lay all the way back. The material is some kind of stone so it is very heavy to move and get in place. This also gives it a cool stone feel when you’re in it. Plumber had an easy time getting it in and it’s genuinely heavy enough that it doesn’t wobble or move at all. Looks sleek and modern. We had contractors replacing our entire tubshower area, so we didn’t install it ourselves, but they commented that it was a nice tub and easy to install. For some reason, the drain and overflow accessories weren’t compatible with our plumbing system, so we had to swap those out, and I wish deer valley made it easier to find other options that are compatible not only with different plumbing but with different finishes. The tub is gorgeous. Make sure you use mild detergent to clean like dishwashing liquid. I used soft scrub comet and it took forever to get the lighter color film residue off. It comes in a crate and its 300 pounds so beware. I paid for the delivery service and it was no problem although the men visibly struggled to get it into my bedroom. My master is on the first floor. I couldnt imagine trying to get it up an interior stairway. Ive read some other reviews that complain of it not retaining heat. My experience is the opposite. Very excited to see the full remodel. This tub was exactly what I wanted amd fits perfectly. I like the deep water level and the little seat.. this is the update on my review.
