I purchased the black nickel finish, which is a glossy black-tinted chrome. It’s pretty good quality. The base is relatively heavy — which is a good thing — and the main cylinder and tree “stem” assembly which attaches into the main cylinder. Tools are provided. The entire assembly took about 15-20 minutes. While I did this alone, it would be helpful to have a second person available to help with tasks such as holding the base while the main cylinder bolt is being tightened down.
