We looked around for a long time to find this fan! I purchased this fan for my family room. It arrived well packed and quickly. It's been fantastic! I love this fan for it's looks more than any other fan in our home. It's just beautiful, not an eye sore like some fans can be. Transitional, modern, clean. Minka Aire moves the air around well and we really can't even hear it other than the soft sound of air moving. The remote makes it convenient to use and has a lot of nice features. The light is nice although we also have 4 can lights because the ceiling is tall and it was needed due to the size of the room and ceiling height. This fan is so quiet, you wouldn’t know it was running- if not for the wind! It is a true 6 speed fan, not just 3 speeds in two directions, which I’ve seen advertised in other fans. The amount of wind is quite impressive, that rarely do I set it above 3 anyhow. Installation was really quite simple, and not as complicated as the many pieces would have you assume.
