Very sturdy but the directions were not very clear. Just so you know you will have to have a drill to put in some screws. I recently purchased the cordless robotic pool cleaner and have used it three times now. I have an in-ground pool which is 8 feet deep. It cleans the bottom of my pool sufficiently.
