They appear to be plenty sturdy, especially since they are mounted to the wall studs. Install was very easy. I will say thatis you are using a drill gun or impact driver, it will be very helpful to have a long drive extension to make it easier to iinstall the top screw! Great storage system for small closets! We were originally trying to find a short dressed to fit in this shallow closet but this was a way better solution and much better use of vertical space. We had bought the add on top shelf to extend the upper shelf space but realized our closet wasn’t tall enough to accommodate it which is fine and now we have this small hidden storage spot on top.
