Vacuum regularly to prevent dust and crumbs from settling into the roots of the fibers. Avoid direct and continuous exposure to sunlight. Use rug protectors under the legs of heavy furniture to avoid flattening piles. Do not pull loose ends, clip them with scissors to remove them.

Everything was perfect with the rug until I washed it. Most sheepskins can be washed when soiled. However when I washed it in cold it shrunk and was all bubbly on the skin side. Made me wonder if it was real skin. I had taken it to a yoga camping festival and it got pretty brown, that is why I washed it. Other feom this, I give it 5 stars as long as you don’t wash it..
