The color of the piece was more gray than I thought it would be, but I actually like it better this way! This is a very sturdy piece and didn’t take too long to put together. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the lift mechanism on the lift top is super tight and needs adjusting. I have to put my foot on the bottom shelf when lifting the lift top table up. Because of the hinge tightness it also doesn’t close perfectly flush easily, but I’m sure I can tinker with it and get it fixed. Looks great, very happy with the piece.. Shauna. Mendon, MA. We were skeptical to buy due to no previous reviews, but I am so glad we purchased! Assembly is a little tough due to the angle of the legs, but after that putting the top on is simple. (I assembled it alone, would definitely be easier with a partner!) The wheels are already attached to the base and the table rolls very easily. It is heavy and sturdy and seems to be a quality piece that will last us years to come! Very pleased with our purchase. For clarification, the base is a square 34" x 34" with the top being 42" x 42" at the widest middle point, and the length between each octagon corner being 30". The diagonal of the table is 51". I was confused by the measurements listed with this furniture and was concerned it would be too large, but it is perfect in our living area!. Kitty . AL. Sat May 24 2025
