The LG LW1024RSMX is not only cool...it's SMART! Cool your home from anywhere using LG ThinQ technology to control your air conditioner with your phone or use with Amazon Alexa and Hey Google to have control with the sound of your voice. This quiet unit is ideal for cooling medium rooms up to 450 sq. ft. 3 cooling and fan speeds and a 24 hour timer to allow you to create a cooling schedule and 4-way air deflection lets the flow of air be directed where it's needed most whether cooling, dehumidifying or just circulating air. If there is a power outage, the auto restart feature will automatically turn your unit back on when power is restored. Other features include a remote control, easy window installation kit, slide-out (washable) filter and a check filter alert.

After dealing with a freestanding portable AC for years, it makes sense this LG window unit feels like a big upgrade. Portable units tend to struggle with efficiency and air distribution, and they’re usually noisier and more cumbersome than people expect once the novelty wears off. A well-designed window unit removes a lot of that friction right away. What stands out most in what you’re describing is the combination of ease and control. Installation on modern LG window units is typically much more straightforward than older models, and once it’s seated properly, they tend to feel more “set and forget.” The cooling performance is usually more consistent too, since window units can vent heat more effectively than freestanding setups. That difference alone can make a room feel noticeably more stable in temperature rather than cycling between hot and “sort of cool.” The convenience features are where these newer models really separate themselves from older generations. The remote is no longer just a bonus—it becomes how you actually interact with the unit day to day. And the app control takes it a step further, letting you adjust temperature, modes, and timers without having to be physically near the window. That kind of flexibility is especially useful in bedrooms or larger spaces where you don’t want to keep getting up to tweak settings. Overall, it sounds like you moved from a “good enough” cooling solution to something that actually fits into daily life smoothly—quietly doing its job while giving you more control with less effort.. The inverter technology enables a more stable power consumption as time goes on compared to non-inverter technology. And this split AC unit features 4 operating modes (cool, dry, heat, fan) and other functions to meet your various needs, such as sleep mode, turbo mode, 24H timer, screen off function, child lock, self-cleaning and more. Filled with the new R32 refrigerant, the most eco-friendly choice that ensures the best air quality both indoors and outdoors. Mini Split Line Set：We use high-quality copper tubes that comply with ASTM standards, offering excellent toughness and hardness. The three-layer insulation cotton provides effective insulation, specifically designed for mini-split air conditioning systems.

This U-shaped inverter window AC delivers ultra-quiet 32dB operation by placing the compressor outside while keeping full window light and views. With 12000 BTU (ASHRAE) cooling, ±1°F accuracy, 4 fan speeds and 4-way airflow, it efficiently cools medium to large rooms. The inverter design saves up to 37% energy with a $61 estimated yearly cost. It supports smart app, voice, remote and touch control, offers 6 modes, and fits standard windows with included accessories. Complete with safety locks, timer and washable filter for easy, reliable home cooling.

Quietest air condition ever. I was holding my breath when I ordered this AC for a sliding glass window in our sunroom(about 350 sq ft) that was 19.25" wide (one side). Yes, we had to remove one side of the slider and install a panel above the unit. The AC fit almost perfectly and the install was easy. (They even provide little custom cut foam pieces for the top of the unitbto go between the unit and the side filler pieces). We let it set for 24 hours, as suggested in several text messages. Plugged it in and turned it on. It ran thru it's system check and started cooling. It wasn't a ghastly hot day so the temp in the room was in the mid 80s. Within 10-15 quiet minutes, the sunroom was a very pleasant 80° on it's way to 75°. When I used on a ghastly hot day, the sunporch temp was 94. It took it about 30 min to get room to a tolerable 84 with fan on low. When I increased the fan speed, it got down to 80 quickly. When you turn it on it automatically sets to 75. SO QUIET - both inside and out. The buttons and readout on the front are large and intuitive. I'll keep the instructions handy because any function other than cooling isn't intuitive. So far, all we have used is the AC, and we couldn't be more pleased. My only suggestion would be to make the bridge adjustable like on some of the other AC's that don't have the inverter technology. (We bought this unit specifically because we wanted the newer inverter technology.) It has adjustable "feet" on the outside to hold the AC in place. Because the house has vinyl siding, we put a board between the "feet" and the siding to prevent damage to the siding (especially when the temps drop.) We would buy this unit again without hesitation.. Jana. Louisville, KY. Sun Sep 13 2026
