The cabinets need to be mounted on a flat wall, which didn't work in my garage (the foundation sticks out too far), so just be sure you have a fully flat wall for mounting. Bought this for a standard small closet (54” x 93”). Because of the closet size, I could only use 2 of the 3 racks. It took me about 4 hours to put this together. I’m pleasantly surprised with the sturdiness of the tower and as other reviews mention, the trim really does finish the look. I agree the rod plates would be better if they were metal and not plastic. Pay close attention to the shaded edges in the pictures in the instruction book for the tower, you could easily overlook this important detail. So it was time consuming to put together, and the directions were a little lacking, but the end result is beautiful and functional. The amount of parts to the system that added to the laborious nature of construction is only due to the fact that there are so many great elements to this system. I bought in to put in a closet in a bedroom with a king size bed that doesn’t have enough room for a large dresser. With this system, there is enough storage to not need a dresser imo.. Candace. The cabinets came in perfect condition and were easy to assemble with one person. They look great and seem to be of good quality. The main thing is to make sure everything is level so the doors close properly. This is done with the adjustable feet. The doors can come to get access to screwing in the upper cabinets.. Keith. I took advantage of an open box offer, so I wasn’t expecting it to be perfect. Only minor damage in some spots, but I was able to patch and paint. Perfect for the officeguest room.
