I bought these because our stairs were really slippery with a young child, and they’ve worked great! They stay in place and make the steps feel much safer. These are used on 40” steps on a garage door. They are fairly small, but work ok for me. Good non-slip. I haven’t washed them yet, but the material feels like it should wash well, but only on cold and delicate with air dry. I will also say they were a bit too pricey for what you get.. Joseph. I originally purchased these to protect a hardwood step that my dog's nails would scratch when running and jumping toward the front door. The positives: * Feels good on feet. * Looks high quality / Upgrades the look on the stairs AND adds safety The negatives: * Tape is insufficient (only three vertical strips). Needed to add Gorilla double-sided tape. * Tape protection is difficult to separate from the tape. * Pieces vary in size. Not by a lot. But enough to require you to install more by eye than the precision of a tape measure. * Some pieces pick up light differently so for this model, the pieces can appear for certain angles as different in shades..
