These were easy to break apart, but if you do it with a knife, then when you score it and break it, they don’t always break in a completely straight line, which meant at the seams I did have to do a little bit of caulking with gray caulk to make it look a little bit better. I did accidentally put these at a slight angle, so I’m not sure how long they’ll stay up, but the quality looks pretty decent for the price and has held up behind our coffee maker!. Deanna. Currently in the middle of installing, they came poorly packaged, tiles were spilling out of their boxes when they arrived. Thankfully I havent found any major damage, but over half of them came with chipped corners, so you will need to grout to hide it, but I was planning on doing that anyways. These panels are exactly what I was looking for. I have a massage office that has a drop ceiling, so it’s quite noisy beyond the walls. I wanted to do as much soundproofing as possible and these are a great start. I’ve ordered two sets in different patterns and they do help muffle some sound, especially the sound from my office to the outside, which is helpful for client privacy. My office is located in a busy sports club and close to the locker rooms so these aren’t completely correcting the problem of outside noise, but I anticipate for most other situations they would greatly reduce it.
