It is true to size, made from heavy-duty, durable material that feels built to last. The waterproof polyester with PU coating does a great job of blocking both water and UV rays. I live in Sunny South Florida, where the sun can be intense, and the dark color helps significantly in reducing heat and glare, making my outdoor space much more comfortable. With the prolonged winter in the mid-Atlantic, it finally got warm enough to install this. This is an extremely well-made and equipped sail. The material looks really good, and it is substantial, fairly heavy grade. The material is porous, so don't look for this to resist rain. All the hardware is provided. You don't have to go to the hardware store for anything. The ratcheting winches were easy to install and they do the job. The mounting rings on the sail and the edge wire reinforcements are solid and look like they will hold up under the stress of wind that the sail will undoubtedly need to endure. We love this so far!. This is a great tarp. The tarp material is water proof and feels heavy duty made a heavy vinyl like material. It’s not made of plastic like usual tarps. The color is nice.
