It took a few months to get up the desire to tackle this project. The instructions were pretty straight forward, mainly pictures without words. I'd say assembly was on the easier side. Instructions said it would take 4 to 6 people to assemble, I did it completely by myself with no issues. I think it took me about 10 total hours over 2 days to completely assemble. There were several parts that were not marked with the same letters as in the instructions but easy enough to figure out. The "V" posts were actually "W" posts and a couple other issues like that. There was also one length of wood that was about 1" too long and I had to trim it off to assemble. a nice looking gazebo and I'd probably purchase it again.. William. Sat Sep 07 2024

I am so happy with this Gazebo, I bought a large sectional L shaped patio couch and there was still plenty of room on the side and front to protect the furniture from the elements and provide shade. Made of Steel and very heavy great construction. It is anchored down with bolts and will not get blown around with winds as high of 60 miles per hour. Good quality, not heavy duty but close. Instructions are difficult to decipher, take your time. I did it by myself with a little help holding things from my wife and kids. Don’t tighten boltsscrews too soon. Leave parts loose to fit and then tighten. No missing parts and no major damage from shipping. Fits BBQ, smoker and pizza oven. Snug but enough room. We love our 11’ x 11’ cedar wood gazebo with black steel roof. Our three-piece furniture set fits well and allows room for the square 28” x 28” propane gas fire pit we have ordered. Love this gazebo. The wood is solid cedar and it is pre-finished in a nice cedar color. I'm not sure if the finish would last in the elements (we live in Canada where the winters are harsh) so we put a good cedar stain on it prior to winter. My husband also built a cedar louvered privacy wall on the one side so we stained the whole thing the same colour. It was fairly simple to assemble and took two of us a weekend to put up.. Lorri. Took one person 3 days to put up. Very easy with the instructions. Looks great. Very solid. Will buy curtains to block out sunweather. This pergola is much more solid and sturdy than most you’ll see at the big box stores. Instructions are straightforward and everything is labeled. I’m happy with it overall. Not to say there aren’t issues. Some of the welds are poor quality. I also had to deal with a couple of dents that made it hard to join pieces. All the bolts are 10mm, even for the base, which seems to be undersized. The shipping box looked like it was dropped from a moving vehicle…it was really bashed up but fortunately everything was in pretty good shape. First. I am glad that I read the reviews especially the negative ones so I could see for myself if the problems are systemic for this product. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product, and it looks great. The product was well packed and there was no damage from shipping, but the package was long and bulky causing the delivery personnel to struggle getting it off the truck. There were only 2 screw holes (in the horizontal supports) that didn’t match up where the H1 bolt would not fit. Fortunately, the 2 places didn’t affect the integrity of the product. Two of the slats on the horizontal bars were welded slightly off (1/8”) making it impossible to use the longer H1 screws. I overcame this by using the spare shorter screws that are used to install upper panels. The use of plastic screws on the top ceiling metal sheets (top of the gazebo) are a waste of time and hold the panels in very well. Constructions tips: It does take four people to get the frame standing and installed. It only takes about 5 minutes to erect the post and insert them into place. So, get your neighbors to help for this major step. It also takes 2 people to set the top copula onto the frame. The rest of the construction can be done by yourself. One complaint I read was that the holes of the metal roof didn’t properly align up with the frame. Since I was aware of this, I didn’t tighten all the screws until all panels were installed. There is enough wiggle room to make the necessary adjustments to get all the screws into the holes. The same issue applies to the rafters when installing the support cross beams. Losen the brackets up so that the cross beams can be inserted into place. Be careful about cross threading the H1 bolts into the frame. I messed up on 1 and it’s not repairable. Use your fingers to start the bolt before using the 10mm tools to lock into place. It took me two 10-hour days to unpack, build, make minor adjustment, and clean up to complete this project. I also had a great time building this project since the finished product does look very impressive. I am happy with the product and would purchase again.
