They have magnets on both sides of the panels and they work even to stick edges to the wall, so there is no light coming around. I chose these curtains for our drafty, 100 year old new england farmhouse guest room. Nice set of black out curtains, we really appreciate the shorter length which is perfect for us- as we don't like curtains to drag the floor and cover the heaters.
