[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been looking at blackout shades for a while, so I was excited to try these out. We hung two panels alongside our existing, non-blackout shades and the difference in light passage is impressive. They have magnets along both side edges to ensure the panels stay together and block more light as well. We ended up purchasing three additional panels to go alongside the two panels we received for free in exchange for an honest but incentivized review. We were able to get the other matching panels for a good price on sale, making them a reasonable value for the light blocking capacity. The color is a nice creamy oat and it has a textured pattern. It does retain wrinkles - even after hanging for several weeks I will still need to steam out the remaining wrinkles from the packaging. Size seems to be true. Also, my home is fully automated with Alexa control. I have two universal RF hubs (Bond Bridge Pro and Toyanc IRRF transmitter) for home automation, and for some reason, both accepted the programming frequency of the remote (433.92 MHz), but neither would transmit the right codes.
