I specifically chose these mats for 2 reasons: 1) the colors. We bought the blue and red ones. They match our existing rug perfectly and add lots of color to our patio room and 2) the design in the pile is very tight and shallow making them easier to get the debris out with a vacuum. They are well made. The color on the red mat states it is maroon. It is actually a true red. It’s very pretty coloring and the material feels sturdy, like it will hold up against heavy foot traffic. It’s on the smaller side so would easily fit on top of another decorative rug if desired..
