Great quality! So far it’s been great! This fridge was packed really well and arrived in perfect condition. I like how the door is reversible and the inside is a black metal with shelves and lights. This is a reproduction of V. Zveg's The Battle of the Chesapeake. The Battle of the Chesapeake, also known as the Battle of the Virginia Capes was a crucial naval battle in the American Revolutionary War. September of 1781, Washington had British troops surrounded in a siege at Yorktown. A British fleet from New York led by Rear Admiral Sir Thomas Graves was sent to help Cornwallis. A French fleet led by Rear Admiral Francois Joseph Paul, the Comte de Grasse, got to the Chesapeake first and engaged the British. The battle was won by the French, and prevented the Royal Navy from reinforcing or evacuating the besieged forces of Lieutenant General Lord Cornwallis at Yorktown, effectively securing independence for the Thirteen Colonies.

Joseph Siffrein Duplessis's Portrait of Benjamin Franklin is a remarkable and iconic representation of the American statesman. During his time, Benjamin Franklin was the most famous American in the world. He remains highly visible today as the face on the $100 bill; this portrait was selected as the basis for that engraving in 1995. Franklin represented colonial interests in England from 1757 to 1775. Upon his return, he was unanimously elected to represent Pennsylvania at the Second Continental Congress. Behind him was a lifetime of achievement as a printer, an unsurpassed author of wit and wisdom, an inventor, and a scientist. Ahead were his roles as a signer of the Declaration of Independence and a member of the Constitutional Convention. In between was his triumph as a diplomat in France (1776–85), where this portrait was commissioned by Madame Brillon de Jouy. In a letter, she praised Franklin for his sound moral teaching and lively imagination but found his droll roguishness most endearing.
