I’m really happy with this black pantry door! It ended up being one of those upgrades that makes a bigger impact than you expect. The solid core construction makes the door feel sturdy and high quality, not flimsy at all. It has a nice weight to it, which adds to that more upscale feel. I also love the 5-lite glass panel design, it adds just enough detail without being too busy. Installation was pretty straightforward, especially since it comes primed and ready to paint. Sturdy door and nice quality - the weight of it makes it seem like a pricier door. It is solid but with the mdf outer- well let’s just say be careful your contractor doesn’t place it in a place with standing water. The good news is the swelling that occurs dries out but you have to let it sit for days. The other thing is the primer on it is super glossy and even after sanding isn’t the easiest to paint.
